Para servirlo eficazmente, hay que entregarse a \u00e9l sin reservas. Y. debe ser fruto de la experiencia propia, si ha de embellecer la vida; el que se apasiona ciegamente es un fan\u00e1tico al servicio de pasiones ajenas. Sin estudio no se tienen ideales, sino fanatismos; el entusiasmo vidente de los hombres que piensan no es confundible con la exaltada ceguera de los ignorantes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0 El entusiasmo es incompatible con la superstici\u00f3n; el uno es fuego creador que enciende el porvenir; la otra es miedo paralizante que se refugia en el pasado. El entusiasmo acompa\u00f1a a las creencias optimistas; la superstici\u00f3n, a las pesimistas. Aqu\u00e9l es confianza en s\u00ed mismo; \u00e9sta es renunciamiento y temor a lo desconocido. Los entusiastas saltan cada amanecer el cerco de un jard\u00edn para aspirar el perfume de nuevas flores; los supersticiosos entran cada crep\u00fasculo al mismo cementerio.
