Resultan impresionantes ya s\u00f3lo como creaci\u00f3n de la naturaleza. El misterio que envuelve estas caprichosas piedras reside sobre todo en los vestigios del uso que les dio el hombre en la Edad Media y, probablemente, tambi\u00e9n en la prehistoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Las caprichosas formaciones rocosas de casi 40 metros de altura ofrecen un espect\u00e1culo natural de incomparable belleza, pero, al mismo tiempo, son un enigm\u00e1tico monumento cultural. Se cree que \u00e9ste fue un lugar de culto en el Paleol\u00edtico. En el siglo XII, el obispo de Paderborn consagr\u00f3 una gruta de las rocas occidentales como iglesia, tal y como reza una inscripci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Entrando a mano izquierda se puede contemplar la imagen en piedra m\u00e1s antigua que se conserva en Alemania, un relieve del Descendimiento de la Cruz. \u00c9sos son los \u00fanicos datos documentados. La corriente new age y el esoterismo volvieron a poner de actualidad las piedras externas, que se convirtieron en un centro de atracci\u00f3n para brujas, druidas, comunidades de fieles celtas y esot\u00e9ricos modernos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enigmas de la Humanidad \u2013 H.
