Es imposible determinar hasta qu\u00e9 punto la Iglesia otorg\u00f3 credibilidad hist\u00f3rica a las primeras leyendas porque muchas de ellas se interpretaron como met\u00e1foras que serv\u00edan para hacer llegar un mensaje concreto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A partir de la Edad Media, los enigmas y milagros de nueva aparici\u00f3n empezaron a ser documentados con escrupulosidad tanto por la Iglesia como por los seglares debido al creciente distanciamiento entre el clero y la corona. Ambas partes pretend\u00edan reivindicar su poder, y los fen\u00f3menos sin explicaci\u00f3n aparente se convirtieron en un medio eficaz para afianzar una posici\u00f3n supuestamente ostentada por voluntad divina. En el Renacimiento, cuando la mayor\u00eda de los s\u00edmbolos y emblemas religiosos hab\u00edan perdido ya su poder pol\u00edtico de convicci\u00f3n, se origin\u00f3 el inter\u00e9s cient\u00edfico por los milagros y misterios, que se empezaron a estudiar con m\u00e1s rigor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>La Epopeya de Gilgames<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">    La Epopeya de Gilgames fue inscrita en doce tablillas de piedra, la mayor\u00eda de las cuales se conservan. El relato narra la vida del legendario rey Gilgames, que vivi\u00f3 aproximadamente entre 2750 y 2600 a.C. Este rey, dos terceras partes divinidad y una tercera parte hombre, trat\u00f3 de erigirse en dios. Con tal prop\u00f3sito fue en busca del sabio Utnapistim, poseedor del secreto de la inmortalidad despu\u00e9s de haber sobrevivido a una inundaci\u00f3n de dimensiones colosales con la ayuda del dios del oc\u00e9ano Enki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Utnapistim hab\u00eda construido un arca y fue el \u00fanico hombre que sobrevivi\u00f3 a la crecida de las aguas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enigmas de la Humanidad \u2013 H.
