La confecci\u00f3n de las 173 gigantescas vidrieras que conforman una Biblia ilustrada llev\u00f3 30 a\u00f1os. El nombre del arquitecto ha ca\u00eddo en el olvido, pero, sin duda, era un maestro en su profesi\u00f3n. Renunci\u00f3 al uso de muros de sustentaci\u00f3n y los remplaz\u00f3 por los arcos ojivales sobre los que descansa toda la fant\u00e1stica construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chartres est\u00e1 a tan s\u00f3lo 90 km de Par\u00eds, en una f\u00e9rtil llanura a orillas del Eure que ha vivido desde siempre de la agricultura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En medio de la poblaci\u00f3n se alza una colina con una iglesia que parece vigilar la ciudad como una gallina clueca desde hace m\u00e1s de 1.500 a\u00f1os. Tambi\u00e9n hay un dolmen de la misma \u00e9poca en que fue construido Stonehenge. Se supone que marca uno de los puntos energ\u00e9ticos m\u00e1s importantes de la Tierra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sea como sea, tanto el dolmen como un pozo adyacente han sido venerados desde tiempos inmemoriales como lugar sagrado. Cuenta la leyenda que un druida predijo con cien a\u00f1os de antelaci\u00f3n el nacimiento de Cristo de una mujer virgen. Por eso este lugar fue consagrado a ella ya antes del cristianismo, y se empez\u00f3 a venerar a una Virgen negra. Los druidas celtas tallaron una peque\u00f1a imagen de la Virgen y el Ni\u00f1o en un tronco de peral. La llamaron la Virgen Subterr\u00e1nea porque la guardaban en una gruta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enigmas de la Humanidad \u2013 H. Genzmer \/ U.
