Adem\u00e1s, cont\u00f3 con la financiaci\u00f3n del Instituto Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo Sostenible (IRD) de Francia y el apoyo del Instituto de Antropolog\u00eda y Arqueolog\u00eda de la Universidad Mayor de San Andr\u00e9s (UMSA) de La Paz, Bolivia; y el proyecto Redes Andinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De acuerdo con el informe de los expertos, el sitio que llamaron &#8216;Waskiri&#8217; est\u00e1 cerca del r\u00edo Lauca y en la frontera entre Bolivia y Chile, en el altiplano boliviano, sobre &#8220;un peque\u00f1o cerro que sorprende, tanto por sus grandes dimensiones (140 metros de di\u00e1metro) como por su dise\u00f1o y regularidad&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para los investigadores, se trata de un centro ceremonial &#8220;completamente diferente&#8221; que muestra caracter\u00edsticas desconocidas en comparaci\u00f3n con otros lugares hallados en esa regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;El centro ceremonial prehisp\u00e1nico de Waskiri no solo es un descubrimiento sorprendente en esta regi\u00f3n des\u00e9rtica y escasamente poblada de los Andes, sino que tambi\u00e9n exhibe caracter\u00edsticas que no tienen precedentes en los Andes prehisp\u00e1nicos&#8221;, dice el estudio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
